Project Overview
The N.F. Railway (Northeast Frontier Railway) bridges project in Mizoram represents one of our most significant domestic infrastructure undertakings. Working with The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Company Limited (BBJ), we have undertaken multiple contracts for bridge fabrication and erection work in the challenging terrain of Mizoram.
This multi-phase project includes open web steel girder bridges of various spans (76.2m and 61.0m) for the railway expansion in Northeast India, contributing to improved connectivity in the region.

Scope of Work
- Fabrication of girder components as per approved drawings
- Handling and re-handling of material, marking, gas cutting
- Straightening of plates and sections
- Making of bevel joint for Butt weld, fitting, pre-heating
- Welding, gauging/grinding for butt weld
- Straightening of members, drilling of holes
- Grinding and finishing as per drawing
- Testing of weld, inspection by BBJ/RVNL/RDSO
- Trial assembly at site

- Fabrication as per IS / IRS code
- RDSO guidelines compliance
- Site in charge supervision
- Layout making with templates, master plate, jigs, fixtures
- Back up supports and accessories as required
